Updated 10.27.2005 - added 5 new pictures taken while I was gone to Texas.

Can you believe that September is already here? I do NOT know where this year has gone. Next month, Raven will be one year old. It just doesn't seem like it has been that long! Pretty jazzed about coming to Texas for the holiday's. I can't wait for you guys to see this little angel. Did I say Angel? Some days, not so angelic. Other days....

She was just told NO to digging in the trash. This is not a look for forbearance. She was right back in it 2 minutes later.

The date on the camera was wrong, I had just reset it and got the month and day backward.

Look at this face. How can I refuse her anything?
Glenn and Raven wave hello to all the family across this country.
Animal crackers all over her face and having a big time of it.
A little better look at all the mess she makes with animal crackers
Tracy brought me a balloon and cupcakes for my birthday. Raven has enjoyed the balloon VERY much
Look - what's over there?
She smiles a lot.
She stops on command and gives me a sly sorta grin.
Grrr! What do you mean the cookie monster isn't on yet?
She was busy telling me ALL about it. Not sure what she was saying yet, but once she does start talking, I get the impression she will have lots to say.
She moves her toy to EXACTLY where she wanted it and told it to stay. At least, I think that is what she was saying.
Glenn dresses her very cute, but as soon as she gets to my house, she begins the process of asking me to remove her clothes. She can't crawl in dresses so it has to go.
She is hoping I don't notice the remote in her hand. This is a no-no and she knows it.
She looks like she is trying to guess the weight of this toy.

Hmm - I would guess about 4 ounces...

Dang camera has a delay which means I miss the smiles and grins she gives me when I call her name. However, I couldn't resist loading this picture since it shows her lashes to great advantage.
And this is my Tiger rattle. She got to run around naked (her favorite). The little darling was holding up her toys one a time so I could take a picture. At each picture I showed her the result on the back of the camera and she would giggle and go get another one. How cute is that?
She is contemplating how to reach the remote I put out of reach. Can you see the wheels turning?
We played a game of taking HER picture and showing her the results. She got an even bigger kick out of that. I won't bore you with all the pictures in that session, but man was she hamming it up.
I will be good, I promise. She kept running into the office at every opportunity, even naked.
She just can't get enough of those little puffs.
Case in point, she just finished a hand full, and is now asking me to put more out
She enjoys it when I spin her round and round in the office chair
She can get pretty tickled at life in general
Not real sure what this face is about, but she makes it often
Enjoying being a part of the group. We were sitting around the table and she just watches everyone. It almost seems as if she is following the conversation
She enjoys spending time with Zach and he enjoys it too. He came and asked me if Raven could get up (she was napping) so he could play with her. What a treat.
Dinner with Tracy (and family), Mom and Dustin. She REALLY loved the peas. There were a little hard to pick up one at a time though.
The Rogers on their way out -- dropped her off and posed for a quick snapshot
Raven is spending more time on her feet and less on her knees. Arms out for balance, she has almost got it
Wish there was a way to record the sounds she makes while playing. Such a dialog!
Told her not to mess with the books on my shelf. This was her response.
She has the drunk baby walk thing happening. Notice the shoulder up, arms out.
Loving on her turtle. My sign that she is getting sleepy and will be napping soon.
Here is a big tooth grin for all the folks in Texas, Oregon and parts unknown. She is standing, holding her balance by a thread but real happy to be up and mobile.
Someone managed to hold her still long enough to put in pig tails. While she wasn't happy DURING that process, she doesn't seem to mind them now. How cute is the modified Pebbles look?
Now that she has her feet under her, she runs around the house. The upside down bunny is just along for the ride. I need to invest in a stop-motion digital camera to catch the shots that might now be difficult.
During her explorations, she take Bunny into Mom and Dad's room to show him around. This door is not often open so it's a little like exploring unknown territory.
Glenn put a bandana on her head (something that is not easy to do since she doesn't LIKE something on her head of in her hair) and she looks ready to clean the house.
