As those closest to me know, this month has already proven "interesting". It's Sunday, January 9th, 2005. Can you believe it? The time is flying faster now that there is a baby to "mark" the passage. Just for giggles, check out the "At the Hospital" page in one window while this page is loading in another. See the differences that just 11 weeks and 4 days make?

Since I baby sat on News Years Eve, once she was dressed, I loaded her up and took her home. Britene of course spent a few minutes checking her out once she got home. |

Raven spends a little bit of time in the swing. Not too much, her Mom doesn't want her to depend on the swing for good moods, sleepy time and what not. |

Can you believe the size of her eyes? And those lashes. They get longer everyday. I was over in the afternoon and she was wide awake. (This is not always the case since she sleeps at the strangest times. Well - not so strange when you think about who her Mother is. =) |

I was playing with her yesterday, with a
camera near by (naturally), She was smiling at almost everything I
did. This look was so precious. It is as if she is saying
No -- yoooouuu come here! |

Raven snuggles down into her Mom's arms, content with the world. Bath time was so relaxing, lotion time is coming soon and all is right with the world. |

Although not able to stay up for the duration of a movie yet, she can still sit up for short periods. Her arms flail a little bit though, which I find adorable. |

Catching an afternoon nap. I just sat and watched her sleep. What can I say? I love being a Grandmother. |

Raven is a VERY happy Baby. She laughs and giggles and wiggles and smiles a lot. Wish you could see this child. |

Dad got up to make a bottle and placed little Raven in his spot next to Mom while in the kitchen. Raven just laughed to be placed in the bed in a warm spot and Dad fetching a bottle. Doesn't take much to make her happy. |

I think Raven might be getting a little tired of the camera. We are getting a lot of the looks that seem to say "Give me break will you?" |

She is still tolerant though, and allows Mom and Dad to 'dress her up" and pose her. Perhaps she understands that her great-grand-parents and great-aunt's and uncles need to see her too. |

Remember the little doll that Britene had? It's hands fell off and nothing would do until I sewed them up so the doll would stop losing her stuffing. Britene has kept the doll for almost 18 years now, and gave it to Raven. After all the posing and playing Raven was tuckered out so she and the doll laid down together for a little nap. |

Mom moved her up to the papasan for her nap and she stirred a little but went right back to sleep when she got her bink. Does anyone remember where the phrase "bink" came from for a pacifier? |

She was so happy to be naked, I didn't have the heart to dress her again after the diaper change. I propped her up and we chatted a while. I love the stage she is in now... learning that her hands are hers to control, but not yet knowing how exactly.... Can you believe she is already three months old? |

She smiles and laughs at the funny antics of her Grandmother making a fool of herself to entertain her. I am okay with that. |

Tracy and Bo came up to take me to the valley (airport) so I could leave Glenn the truck. Naturally, we had to do a little Raven time! She seemed pretty entertained by "Ankle Bo" as the other kids call him. |

After we dropped Raven back at home, her Mom dressed her for a party. Doesn't this look say "Can you believe she is making me wear this out in public?" |

As if to make my point! Here we see Glenn highlighting her cheek size as he flies her thru the air. Despite the look on her face, she really does love this part. Of course, as long as Daddy is involved, she would love just about anything. |

She spends a lot of time being entertained. Mobile, swing, bouncer, flying with Dad, you name it. However, when the entertainment slows down, this spoiled little lady is not above letting you hear about it! |

When the mobile and doll weren't doing it for her, Mom added pooh bear and a turtle. The more the merrier! |

Ready for bed. I did mention that our little angle isn't so little anymore, right? Can you say little piglet? Or perhaps the correct phrase is healthy. Raven Honey... a minute on the lips, a life time on the hips. =) Just kidding sweet-heart. |

Close to bed time and she gets that far-away look in her eyes. Not even the camera going off in front of her breaks the trance. |

Her hands stay balled up most of the time, anyone know why? Britene says Raven had fallen asleep before the other hand was trimmed and when she woke up, she had scratched her nose. |
