Okay, so I hope to be home a few days this month. Missed a lot of time with little Raven - who isn't so little anymore. What a little piglet! But happy, healthy and loving life so as a Grandmother, I have NO complaints. She has begun playing more, cooing and talking and wants to be entertained. She no longer in content to lay unattended for any length of time. Britene and Glenn pick her up immediately when she starts.. boy... are they gonna pay for that later. I got to babysit the day after I arrived home and some of those pictures are here. She has gotten to enjoy her bouncer too, and man oh man is that some cute stuff.

It just about swallows her up, but now that her head doesn't flop around so much, she can enjoy it. Britene has to put a blanket wrapped book underneath her so she can reach the floor.
She gets pretty excited and wants to eat the rings, which do not cooperate and jump into her mouth. That left leg starts kicking out in a staccato pattern which is pretty cute.
She has managed to get her hands up on the rings and begins spinning the green one around and around.
Looking up at her Momma while playing in her bouncer
Glenn is the one that wants bows and headbands in Raven's hair. Her we see Raven modeling one her Dad has managed to get to stick for a minute. You all remember the baby fine hair and how hard it was to get bows to stay??
Okay, so this isn't the best picture, but I thought it captured her eyes so well, I decided to include it.
I got her a new rattle, which she promptly placed in her mouth (naturally) to investigate. How cute is it when they can't quite do exactly what they want, but continue to try anyway???
Already showing signs of the only child syndrome, she is trying to push the baby doll off her favorite toy.
Caught in the act and scolded, she immediately laughed, giggled, wiggled and otherwise captured Grandma Nay's heart.
Tuckered out from playing she laid down to sleep, but not before I snapped one more of those big blue eyes. The flash didn't bother her, she was in a self-maintained daze.
A nap behind her (34 minutes), she is ready to go again. Remind you of anyone? Her new Tiger rattle needed investigation as well, and was wet and slimy within 3 minutes of reaching her hands.
After her investigation, she compares Tiger to her finger. I don't have to tell you which one won do I?
She got to go play with Damen upstairs on his play mat. They are close to the same size but Damen in 2 months older!
Both like to be "naked". Well, okay, in a diaper then.
What a pretty new dress. She has also discovered her hands and how good they taste. She has grown into a lot (and out of a lot too!)
Hey, a little milk drool never hurt anyone. She is VERY entertained - all day - every day. Nope, not spoiled one little bit. =)
Raven was laying in the floor laughing at her goofy parent. She is a really happy baby.
Solid foods now and loving it. She opens VERY wide to ensure the spoon as enough room on all sides. She doesn't want any to fall off.

She like to sleep in the strangest position. THIS is normal for her. When trying to fall asleep, she turns her head so far back it looks like she is looking over her shoulder.
A very patient baby when it comes to feeding time. If Mom isn't fast enough, she just chews on her finger.
A little tongue action while she is eating is pretty cute.
