Updated! Saturday night (5.14.2005) I got to babysit for Britene's 19th Birthday. Sorry it's taken me all day to get all the pictures up. Please load this page overnight, there are quite a few!

Wow! 8 weeks goes really slow or fast, depending on how you look at it. For me, it was too fast, too much to do, not enough time. For me (also) it was too slow. Missing my family daily, and knowing little Raven was growing by leaps and bounds. Britene and Glenn did right by us though, they took a lot of pictures. It takes a while to do everything necessary to get them up here, so please be patient with me while I start sending them here.

Taken the same day I left. Glenn and Raven pose for a picture. Raven has made the camera her friend.
Later that night... she is looking pretty tired. All that being cute I think..
One week later. Look at that little tongue. You will see a lot more of it in the pictures to come as she has figured out it is hers and she controls it. It is so funny to watch.
Getting more mobil. She rocks on her knees and then gets down on her belly and swims. She would rather walk.
Raven looks ready for a dance class in that outfit. She is pretty happy with her Mom though.
Britene and Raven romping in the floor. Raven is more interested in what Dad is doing. Look at that square head -- or is it just the cheeks?
Mom - does this picture remind you of Eric? Every now and again I get a flashback to him in Raven. I know that sounds all wrong, but sometimes...
Getting the hang of her feet as well.
Balance is everything at this age. Notice the arm action to catch herself. I think the pot belly is also helping.
Counting her rings. She now entertains herself for a while. Keep plenty of toys within reach and she is okay.
Smiling at her Mom - sticking her tongue out at the camera
As you can see, she is all smiles most of the time. Although they do have a few pictures where she isn't so happy.
She still sleeps in that strange position.
Ever the over achiever, she is trying to feed herself.
She does know when it is time to eat and you never saw such a happy child as when she sees Mom bringing the grub.
That little tongue gets to going in anticipation of the ceral.
I did mention she was a happy child, yes? This is her new cell phone, because no 6 month old should be without one.
She does love showing her tongue. It is almost her favorite thing.
What a face! Dad is kissing her belly -- which she loves -- while she is drooling on his head. What fun!
Dressed and ready for a outing with the family. How cute is that headband? Alice, you will like Glenn, he loves putting things in her hair.
The prospect of getting out for a time is good news to Raven. She loves trips.
Oh so busy with her toy. Lots of buttons, lights and noises.
Okay, enough posing, now back to work making it glow green.
Glenn got his cross filled in but it's still sore so no shirt right now. Raven loves it though.
We told Raven we were putting this picture up on the web site so she sent a big hello to the entire family, bunny feet and all.
The little piglet doesn't like it when Mom washes under the cheeks too much.
Look -- no hands! As I mentioned, she went from swimming on her belly to wanting to walk. NO crawling for her - no - forget that!
Can you guess what she wants?
Ready to walk, as soon as she figures out that whole balance thing. As long as Dad is willing to be still, she is fine.
As long as she has a audience, she sings us a little tune. It's in baby-speak but pretty darn cute.
Like my new doo?
Raven is pretty interested in what is on the other end of the table.
I am pretty sure she know just how cute she is. This is blowing a kiss, by the way.
Sporting Dad's new hat - just for grins.
Somebody really loves her Mommy.
Man, there are some days she is just too cute for words. That little heart shaped mouth, those big bright eyes.
She is getting pretty good at holding herself up once you place her on her butt. She has even started trying to sit up on her own now that she knows how much she likes being upright.
Of course, kicking it laid back is not too bad either.
There are so many things to place with, what will I play with next?
Damen tries to share her bink. Raven seems content to let him.
I got to watch her for a few hours the day after I got home -- 8 weeks gone and she is a different child. What great fun to watch her learn new stuff.
She laughs for no reason -- well, I might have been blowing kisses or something. ; )
What a beautiful family. Wish you guys were here! Check out that lopsided grin.
