Tallen | First Days

Nine months to prepare yourself, then wham, here he is. The first few days at home with everyone getting used to everyone else is always a little hectic, but the Rogers family is sailing along on smooth waters. Tallen had a delayed reaction to the drops they put in his eyes at birth, and some of the pictures show the red swollen orbs. Mom and Dad put cold compresses on them throughout the first couple of days to help bring the swelling down.

	Glenn has his hands full now. A little dark around the eyes, but otherwise, doing great.
	Raven is REAL glad Daddy is home. She doesn't even mind sharing his attention at the moment.
	Here we can see Tallen's blond hair. Yepper, a little dark around the edges, but in the light, definitely blond. The swelling in his eyes is starting to go down now.
	Raven keeps an eye on him. He might fall out or something. Frankly, I think she is waiting for the Papsaun. This was hers first and she still likes to play on it.
	When he squeaks, she giggles.
	She gets down close -- all the better to see you little brother.
	Tallen enojys a big ole yawn, involving his whole face. Remind you of anyone?
	To prevent tiny razorsharp fingernails from gouging furrows in his face, Mom put him in some socks.
	A little more awake, Glenn captures this photo on a fly-by of the bassinet. Cameras are set out so we can all get to them at anytime. Course, we are pretty busy just watching him.
	He quickly falls back to sleep, happy and content that everyone is where they should be.
	Hmmm, I bet I know what he is dreaming of...
	This is the picture they choose to send to the newspaper for his birth announcement.
	Getting his first bath. Except for the BENT legs, this reminds me of Britene! Her legs always shot straight out.
	Had to zoom in a little to see that sqrunched up face.
	After the bath, Britene hands off to Dad, who listens to his son's compliants
	Clean, fed and tuckered out, Tallen takes a nap on Dad.
	His eyes aren't as swollen now, but there are some spots left.
	Tallen's poopy face looks a lot like Raven's. (See the picture below if you don't believe me)
