Thanks for coming here. I want to share the pictures of Raven with all of my family because I am excited and proud and ready to brag about her at the drop of a hat. However, if you stop visiting the web site because you are still on dialup and it takes forever for the pictures to load, then bragging becomes impossible since you haven't seen the pictures. See my dilemma? So, to improve my chances for bragging about Raven, consider having her whole web site downloaded to your computer. You can view it anytime, instantly. A page with 20 pictures loads in 2 seconds! I bet if you could look at her website without ANY delays, you would look more often. Am I right?
To add the Web page you are currently viewing to your Favorites list and then make it available for offline viewing, follow these steps in Internet Explorer: (you should do these steps from the main page)
1. On the Favorites menu, click Add To Favorites.
2. Click the Make Available Offline check box to select it, and then click OK.
To make an existing favorite Web page available for offline viewing, follow these steps in Internet Explorer:
1. On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites.
2. Click the Web page you want to make available offline.
3. Click the Make Available Offline check box to select it, and then click Close.
If you are on Windows XP -- here is some more detailed info for you. I found this article by typing "make available offline" in Google. The original web address is included.

In an effort to help you get the most out of your "browsing" experience on this site, let me instruct you on a couple of other points...
For those of you on dial up, consider these hints;
In the Menu item (within your browser) TOOLS, select the INTERNET OPTIONS item.
Across the top there are several tabs, the first of which is GENERAL. About half way down the dialog box is a button (Windows 2000 users) marked SETTINGS in the Temporary Internet Files section.
Change "Check for newer version of stored pages" to Automatically.
Increase the amount of disk space allowed to be used to house these files to something over 40 meg. The pictures I have placed on the web site are at least 100 meg
Next, move to the section marked "History" and
Increase the number of days to keep pages in History to 99.
Next, select the tab marked ADVANCED and scroll down the list and locate/change this item:
Make sure that "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" is UNCHECKED, since checking it will automatically remove all the pictures you spent so much time downloading.
