Well, Thanksgiving turned out to be a little eventful. Vicki and I left for Tracy's house early Wednesday so we could pick up the wedding rental items (tables, chairs, etc) and spend Wednesday night at Tracy's. Glenn, Britene, Raven, Patty and Shannon were scheduled to come down Thursday (late morning) for the feast. Britene called to let us know they were on the way about 10:00am. About 10:30am, got another call, they were involved in a wreck on the way out of town. While the car is in pretty bad shape, everyone in the car is fine.... Raven slept through it in fact. Thankfully, they were only doing 25 miles an hour. With no way down the hill, Joshua and his lady love (Shelly) jumped in his truck and I jumped in Tracy's Explorer and up the hill we went to pick everyone up. Five hours later, we arrived for the Thanksgiving festivities. Since we missed most of the activities and were late for dinner, many pictures are missing. They start when we arrived back at Tracy's house just before dark. I forgot to appoint someone my photographer-in-case-of-emergency, so there are no pictures of food or eating.

Once we arrived back at Tracy's house, she sat still with Raven, grateful everyone was okay.
Mom also spent a few minutes holding little Raven, relief very apparent in her face. Raven - of course - slept through it all.
Shelly got a chance to hold Raven once they arrived. Until then, it was go go go with Raven in the car seat. (Sorry Shelly, I need new software that will allow me to remove the whole red eye effect.)
Happy that all are okay, Mom, Tosha and Tracy do a little mugging for the camera in the kitchen.
Before making her plate, Britene heats up a bottle for Raven, who has her whole thumb in her mouth to let everyone know we were starving her. Is this child cute or what?
Now that she is fed and calmer, Britene snags a little kiss on the cheek from our little darling. Don't you love it when they turn their heads chasing the kiss?
Late evening on Thanksgiving and Josh finally gets a chance to hold Raven. Please note the identical expressions. I think Raven figured he was trying to impersonate Glenn with that hair cut, but she wasn't fooled.
Raven cuts her eyes at Shannon when she said something to me. I thought the pose was priceless.
Tracy and her kids stop for a quick pose while I directed. Jim was outside playing horse shoes with the "guys" or he would be present too.
Zachary doesn't like to be hugged in public but managed not to be mad at me for this picture. Thanks Zach.
Before leaving for the night, Josh let me take a picture of he and Shelly. Aren't they a cute couple?
Sandy, Tonya and Britene allow a "buddy" picture.
Raven was scratching the sides of her face the night before the wedding, so Britene put socks on her hands while Gran held her -- asleep of course.
Since tomorrow is the wedding day, Britene agreed to let Raven sleep with Grandma Nay in the RV so she wouldn't have bags under her eyes. But before going to bed, they came out and spent a few minutes saying goodnight to Raven. Raven didn't notice but it made them feel better.
While I settled Raven's things and setup for the night, I put the little one in bed with Gran. A full day behind them, they both dozed for a little bit.
